Narcotic Wasteland, the band fronted by ex-Nile guitarist and vocalist Dallas Toler-Wade, just released its second album today. Delirium Tremens is just pummeling, non-stop death metal that covers a ton of ground. Sure, it's got plenty of grindy bits, but there's some melodic death metal passes in there a la early Carcass, a touch of black metal, and of course some half tempo riffs exclusively designed to make you want to destroy everything.
