Metallica will release its remastered version of Master Of Puppets on November 10 complete with a ton of demos, live takes, and other goodies, including what you're about to hear below. This demo of "Master Of Puppets" was recorded at The Carlson House in El Cerrito, California in late June 1985, and you'll notice a pretty massive difference with the vocals almost immediately. Instead of staying nice and low in his vocal register, James Hetfield goes up much higher, and the result is pretty weird.

Pre-order Remaster Of Puppets, which I personally still think is a great title for the remaster, here.
