Six years after Cursed and a handful of posts promising a new album later, Ion Dissonance is officially back! The band has announced that it'll be releasing its new album Cast The First Stone on November 18 via Good Fight Music, and is currently streaming a new song called "Treading On Thin Ice" at the bottom of this post. Among the reasons I absolutely love this song is that the band isn't trying to get with what's popular in metal – Ion Dissonance is Ion Dissonance, and it does what it does damn well.
As an added bonus, the band has also announced three dates with Fit For An Autopsy, Great American Ghost, and Of Feather And Bone, because why stop at just shocking everyone with a new album?
