Denver's blackened death project, Glacial Tomb, emerged back in April of this year with a blistering EP named Cognitive Erosion. The new trio features members of KhemmisAbigail Williams, and Cult of the Lost Cause. In light of the events in Charlottesville; the band has followed up their spring debut with a cover of the anarcho-punk legends, Aus-Rotten's "Fuck Nazi Sympathy". The band aligns themselves with the obvious good side in what should be an unnecessary debate. Nazis and their sympathizers have no place in the United States. Ben, Connor, and Mike echo this fact through a grisly take on the Pennsylvania punk band's 1994 track.

The band spoke to their cover of the song saying, "'Fuck Nazi Sympathy' is, we hope, a sentiment that everyone can get behind. Our decision to cover this song was born out of two things: a love for Aus Rotten and a disgust that white supremacists have become so emboldened that they gather in public and call for the extermination of our sisters, brothers, mothers, and fathers. We have no delusions about this recording changing the world, but we hope that it inspires others to use their art and myriad resources to make the world less of a giant dumpster fire. After all, aren’t things like resisting political domination by the elite and protecting the world(s) of music that we love part of the Underground's ethos?"

Glacial Tomb will be donating all the proceeds from the sales of their Cognitive Erosion EP. From now until September 4 all proceeds will go to organizations that promote and defend equality like the SPLC. On their donations; the band added, "If you’ve been thinking about downloading the release, we hope you will do it now. If you’re upset by this and think that music isn’t or shouldn't be political (almost everything you do has political ramifications), then do nothing. You're free to do so."

Listen to the cover now and help the band donate to worthy causes. Follow Glacial Tomb on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
