GEOSTYGMA Share A Feast With "Withering Breath"
French death metallers Geostygma just dropped their debut EP, The Die Is Cast, at the beginning of December. To go along with the hype behind the album, the band also announce they would be blasting across France, Spain and Belgium with Pitbulls in the Nursery, Exocrine and Ceild.
To go along with all this, they're showing off both their serious and humourous side with a new playthrough video for the song “Withering Breath”. This song shows off everything that Geostygma embody, with every changing riffs, some impressive hooks and probably one of the heaviest breakdowns of 2018. All this being played in the middle of a Japanese restaurant while eating sushi, because why not?
Guitarist James Chancé, who can be seen absolutely rocking out in the video, only had this to say:
“Japanese food is the best thing in the world and we are glad our favourite restaurant Hoshi let us use their space to record this!”
Right on James, you do you. Check out the video below, these guys are definitely one to keep an eye out for. If you're in the area, definitely hit up one of these shows, they're not a band to be sleep on!
