Cyhra , the band featuring ex-In Flames guitarist Jesper Strömblad and bassist Peter Iwers, ex-Amaranthe vocalist Joacim "Jake E." Lundberg, and drummer Alex Landerburg (Luca Turilli's Rhapsody, ex-Annihilator), will release its debut album Letters To Myself next Friday. The album seems to be the perfect blend of killer melodic death metal riffs and catchy rock choruses, or at least that's the sense we get from the title track below.

It feels amazing to have ‘Letter To Myself‘ as a single as this was the first song me and Jesper wrote together. I am very proud of how this song ended up and the lyrics are so straight forward that I bet that most people can relate to those. Most of us has been through problems of getting out of a bad relationship or battling with ones like gambling or addiction. I can’t wait to have the whole album to be released and see people’s reactions.
Its also worth noting the band recently added ex-Shining (SWE) guitarist Euge Valovirta to its lineup, though he didn't play on the album. Pre-order Letters To Myself here.
