CHELSEA WOLFE's New Song "Vex" Features SUMAC Frontman Aaron Turner

Naturally, it's super heavy.

Naturally, it's super heavy.

Chelsea Wolfe's new album Hiss Spun is shaping up to be her heaviest yet, which is phenomenal. Wolfe is has always been right on the periphery of metal and closed the gap with each album. Now she's got Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age) on guitar for her new song "Vex," as well as a seriously heavy appearance by vocalist Aaron Turner (SUMAC, Old Man Gloom, ex-Isis).

Honestly, Wolfe's music all by itself is more than enough to love, but the addition of Turner is just an automatic shot right to the top. Hiss Spun is out September 22, and you can pre-order that here.

"With She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She, Wolfe continues her reign as perhaps the most disquietly serene singer/songwriter around."
