METALLICA have posted yet another song online, slowly leaking their own material. First there was Cyanide and then The Day That Never Comes, now comes My Apocalypse. Thoughts?

    It's alright. Nothing special.

The more I hear, the more it sucks. Lame record, you heard it hear first.

i like it best of the 3. 1:52-2:48 could have been from "Justice"

Yeah I agree, I liked this one the best out of the 3 so far. Even on its own I enjoyed it the first time I heard it. I've been listening to it all day and haven't become sick of it yet! The verse that comes in at 2:09 reminds me a lot of Slayer.

I guess this is what you get when the greatest metal band in their heyday signs onto a pop record label and gets a pop producer. Their tone is horrendous…It's far too rubbery like they have too much overdrive but the volume isn't turned up. Their songs are a bunch of bar chords in 1/4 and 1/16 bpm with awkward blast beats and even more awkward vocals over it.What ever happened to the natural, raspy, vocals of Hetfield? This opera style is just unbearable. They are trying too hard to regain a healthy fan base, when in reality they're just a fad for teeny-poppers who only know the name/image…not the music that inspires! Why don't they just re-release collector editions of their great albums with 'extra bonus' tracks to turn a buck? This is brutal at it's most purest definition! Appropriately titled 'Death Magnetic' because whoever is attracted to the album will want to contemplate their death.

I've been disappointed by every track they've leaked so far…. maybe if they wouldn't have hyped it as "the second coming of Metallica", I wouldn't have expected it not to suck.

But it does suck. It does. They make baby Satan cry. This album is so weak it makes me sad. Oh well, at least they didn't put some gay guy's sperm on the album cover like they did with 'Load'.
