Mouth Of The Architect's initial single off its upcoming album Path Of Eight floored me. The song was incredibly well written, had plenty of hooks, and nailed down an excellent atmosphere. It sucks to say that I really don't feel the same about the new track, "Fallen Star." It seems like Mouth of The Architect wrote a solid metal track, and then tacked on an additional minute of aimless clean vocals to the front end.
Not to say I'm any less interested in hearing all of Path Of Eight, which is out on October 7 via Translation Loss. Pre-order the album here.
