Metal Injection

Some of you might be a bit young to remember MTV Cribs, the show that took the viewer inside the homes of wealthy stars in entertainment and sports. Despite the show rarely having a metal guest, I always found it to be a guilty pleasure. Maybe to bark at the rich, pry into other lives, or simply collect decorating ideas for my imaginary mansion, I still find it fun when an artist allows us to see their living space. So I was really intrigued to learn that Sabian Cymbals entered the home of drummer Mike Portnoy to discuss his crazy habits in this piece titled "Obsessed".

The clip is ideally meant to promote Portnoy's endorsement with Sabian, but as a long time fan I actually found this clip really interesting, honest, and full of information I've never heard before. He goes onto to discuss his various obsessions in life, and then provides examples of just how far it goes. It's worth the 8 minutes of viewing for any Portnoy/Theater fan out there:
