Mestis, the group made up of Animals As Leaders' guitarist Javier Reyes and drummer Matt Garstka, Calle 13 percussionist Hector Barez and Marvin Gaye's trombonist David Stout, will be releasing Polysemy on November 6 via Sumerian Records. Mestis only has one other release from 2012 out on the market right now, but if this is even half the jazzy experience that was, then we're in for a killer record!
