Crystal Fairy is the somewhat unlikely sludge group that features Melvins vocalist and guitarist Buzz Osborne and drummer Dale Crover, Le Butcherettes vocalist and guitarist Teri Gender Bender, and multi-instrumentalist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez of At The Drive-In (and formerly of The Mars Volta).
Crystal Fairy's debut track "Drugs On The Bus" is exactly as weird and slow as you'd think that combination might create, though that doesn't mean it's not awesome. Crystal Fairy will be releasing its debut album on February 24 via Ipecac Recordings, and a 7" titled Necklace Of Divorce sometime this month.
