KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Frontman Teases His New Punk Band THE WEAPON

It sounds plenty pissed off.

It sounds plenty pissed off.

Killswitch Engage spent the end of 2017 recording new music and a few covers. Now frontman Jesse Leach, who was also busy with a Times Of Grace album, is back in the studio with his new punk band The Weapon recording two new songs to be out pretty soon! While it's not a ton to go on, you can hear some of The Weapon's music and Leach's vocals amidst all the gang vocals being laid down by the rest of the band in the teaser below.

Leach has been working on (presumably) this punk project since early 2017. He also showed his love of punk and hardcore on a covers compilation with the likes of Voivod and Tombs as he covered Minor Threat's 1985 track "Salad Days."

The Weapon my hardcore punk project will be dropping 2 songs soon. Some clips of the back up vocals getting recorded and some sneak peak of some demos. This is a band formed for the love of the music and for all of us to be able to jam and eventually play some shows. 4 dudes having fun making some noise! Recorded at Dark City Studios (@darkcitystudios) in Yonkers NY with my dude Andy Mass at the controls (he also is our drummer)! @christopherdrapeau @the_josh .
