I saw this last night and I was wondering if MI was going to blog about it… what do ya know [:
Btw, give Fallon a fair viewing, he's not that bad. If they book these bands then… wow… just wow. He will be my favorite dood by default.
Wow! Holy shit that was pretty awesome of her! And was that ?uestlove from The Roots on drums? Holy shit I used to think Jimmy Fallon was kind of a douche but I'll definitely have to check out his show, that was pretty funny. I also think he should book Behemoth. That would be the pussy \m/
Metal isn't shown on popular media because for 1.
It's in "bad taste", said by the producers.
Second, we all know, metal isn't a big money maker. Unless you talk about Slipknot, Disturbed, Trivium, Lamb of God, A7X, Metallica, Arch Enemy or As I Lay Dying.
Third, some of these bands refuse the exposure, so they can "keep it real" in the metal world. Keep it underground. I'm kinda glad metal is underground though, or else the media would jump on these bands and their fellow fans and make them out to be "devils" or some shit. Marilyn Manson, Judas Priest, Ozzy… they all felt the sting.
I wouldn't mind seeing these types of metal bands show to a whole new demographic, just to rile things up BUT if they would ever make a "segment" on TRL about how "cool" and "hype" metal is… I would throw up. I don't want to see preps wear prada and have ONE spiked bracelet on their wrists, just to show that they like metal… fuuuuuck that. But hey, money changes things (Ozzy).

yea kevin nealon loves jfac lol, that guy is so jokes my favourite character on weeds by far. But fuck this fallon guy hell never have as many metal acts on his show like conan o'brien

No, Fallon has a better chance of getting these bands booked. Conan's show has way better ratings then Fallon… see where I'm going with this? Ever seen a metal band (worthy metal) on Jay Leno? His show started early, as with Conan's at the time, started later. Less people watching, so less exposure to Metal… *sighs*
If Fallon starts booking metal bands i will defiantly start watching it. He is quite funny tho i will have to admit.
Demi's song, "Skyscraper" is just amazing. Touching melody and lyrics. It's contagious and phenomenal. I have to listen to it every day and I've been crazy about looking for any remix and other versions of this song. I just heard Lisa Lavie's cover today. INCREDIBLE. She sings this song like an angel.
