If You've Wondered What It's Like To Tour With SUMMER SLAUGHTER, Watch This Documentary
- Posted by RobInjection on October 2, 2012
The Summer Slaughter tour is billed as the "most extreme tour of the year," but if you're actually a band on the tour, the Cephalic Carnage-coined Summers Laughter tour is a more appropriate title. It's basically extreme metal summer camp, as all the bands hang out, play music and get wasted. And now, we have proof of such occurrences. Jeff Holcomb was asked to fill in on bass for Periphery on the tour, and he decided to bring a camera and ended up shooting what would be an hour-long documentary chronicalling the tour. It's a fun look back with some extended profiles on The Faceless, Periphery, Veil of Maya and all the other bands on the tour. Watch it here:
If that's not enough Summer Slaughter goodness for you, take a look at all of our coverage of this year's festivities.
