Hammerhedd is a group of young brothers out of Kansas City and they rip so, so hard. The band cites influences such as Metallica, Gojira, Demolition Hammer, Meshuggah, Vektor, and way more. Especially for their age, the band is much more than the sum of their influences, and properly showed everyone how damn good they are at the Westport Oktoberfest last weekend.
You can check out their kickass original song performed live below, which sounds like an insane mashup of Gojira and Morbid Angel. The band will also release their debut EP sometime soon and will play a release show for the EP on November 9 at the Riot Room. Hammerhedd is not currently signed, but Attila's Chris Fronzak is trying to get them to come to his label.
