Sometimes a band will release an incredibly lengthy track and it just drones on and on without ever getting to the interesting part. Ecstatic Vision took that challenge and ended up writing an a lengthy jam that consists only of the interesting bits! Check out "Astral Plane" below, which may as well as have been written by 1990's Monster Magnet. Well done, Ecstatic Vision! Seriously, this song is just hypnotic in the best way possible and basically demands me to hit the repeat button.
Fortunately it wasn't and now we've got an entire album of stuff like this to look forward to when Ecstatic Vision drops Sonic Praise like an acid tab on June 30 via Relapse Records.
