Escape the Cult, featuring ex-Primus drummer Tim Alexander, Kamlath bassist Peter Shallmin, King Diamond and ex-Mercyful Fate guitarist Mike Wead and current Uneven Structure vocalist Matthieu Romarin, dropped their first single "I'm Absolute" on July 3 through Team Rock's Prog site. The single preludes the group's debut album All You Want to be released on August 18.
Personally, I'm hoping for better work from this group outside this song. The writing and playing is good but the song never seems to go anywhere. How do you feel about this?
