DANK SLAMS: One-Man Slam PHALLOPLASTY Summon A Good Ol' Zombie Apocalypse... MORTICIAN Style!
Once upon a slam there was Mortician. This was many, many moons ago. A time when your existence hung precariously over a toilet – waiting to be queefed back into the (fe)seas. Unlucky for us, your mother passed out after a night of wild fornication with your Uncle Boffo – allowing time for your cheeto-infused DNA to make that long, treacherous swim to that life-producing egg. Our point being, most of you reading this are likely far too young to truly understand what a real slam is.
Well, fear not, as Las Vegas' Phalloplasty is here to instruct. Before we dive in, some context…
So, if Mortician were a contemporary slam band, well, they might just be Phalloplasty. From the mind of one Zack Shaw, it's the decidedly industrialized drum machine and buzzsaw-like production that breathes some much needed old-school life into Zack's take on the sub of brutal slammin death metal. For even the most ardent of fans, slam can often be an exercise in the lifeless and stale (in a beefy-all-the-time kinda way).
If you like your slam sans pomp and circumstance, with a touch of goregrind and BDM, then Zack's brand new slamtastic effort, entitled Smear, is your jam. We present to you the first single, entitled "Spastic Lacerations". Plunge in – crush ass – pull out!
