Cynic bassist Sean Malone has performed on every single release the band has put out sans the 2010 Re-Traced EP. That information comes as a surprise to some fans because you never see Malone on tour with the band- he just doesn't do it because he has a job and all. So unless you caught the band during the Focus days, fat chance seeing Malone on the road. However, you can see him performing the band's classic "Veil of Maya" song off 1993's Focus below! Unsurprisingly, Malone is perfectly in tune and doesn't miss a beat because he is secretly not even a human being, but a bass-playing machine sent to make other bassists feel stupid. Check it out!
