Corey Taylor Can't Read His Own Punchlines

YouTube Preview Image

Corey Taylor recently put out his book, Seven Deadly Sins, and recently recorded an audiobook version. Has anybody ever actually listened to audiobooks? Not I. Anyway, he released the above teaser with a chapter excerpt on greed. While I hoped Taylor would put a bit more inflection in his voice, the thing that bothered me the most was that he wrote all these silly jokes in the book, and yet when he reads the jokes aloud, he doesn't deliver them with the cadence necessary for people to understand the joke. It would always take me a second to go, oh, that's him trying to be funny. At least now we know if Taylor's musical career goes kaput, he doesn't have much of a future in stand up comedy.

  1. this is just….
how big of an ego does this douche have?
    nothing he said was intelligent.

  2. well here's another skit you can do on the livecast.

  3. Corey has always had a thing for trying to be funny.I always facepalmed at his jokes so far.Why would anyone want to listen to this uncultured redneck.

And this book is just generic crap. Why would anyone spend their money on this unless they're one of his fanboys?

"Greed.Greed is bad because greedy people only want things for themselves"

    Is this a children's book?

btw:He put no emotion in his voice and that picture of him with horns is pathetically childish.

  4. Maybe he shouldn't have done the audio book? Nonetheless, he's an icon.
