Come Stream WINDHAND's Suffocatingly Heavy New Record Grief's Infernal Flower

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

If it hasn't been made abundantly clear by now, I'm a pretty big Windhand fan. So it's understandable that I'm at the very least a little bit excited that Grief's Infernal Flower is streaming right this second courtesy of NPR! I'm absolutely loving this record, though for different reasons than I've loved the band's past work. Grief's Infernal Flower feels a little more diverse, in that there's stretches into classic rock territory, even slower territory than before and just the overall feel of the record is somehow less "doom and gloom" and a little more "hey, let's try this!"

Grief's Infernal Flower comes out via Relapse Records on September 18.
