In Case You're Wondering What CRYPTOPSY's Flo Mounier has been up to…

Cryptopsy are legendary. Those early albums they put out are basically untouchable. As always, the drums always stuck out as drummer Flo Mounier is one of my favorite of all death metal drummers. But, Cryptopsy seems to be over, and it's for the best really. Now, Flo is expanding his horizons. He has formed a group with some former members of Into Eternity called Digital Doomzday. That is not a typo, there is a Z in there. The band is a rap-metal hybrid and have two songs available for streaming (below). I listened to both, and while the first track sounded sort of terrible and generic, I found myself liking the second track because I could really hear Flo being showcased. What do you guys think of this?

  1. don't make Flo mad, or he will make another song about how people who don't like this shit live with their parents.

random: anyone else think if "The Unspoken King" wasn't released as a Cryptopsy album it wouldn't have been as bad?

The Unspoken King had Leach, which was a pretty good song. Otherwise, that album was trash.

I really have NO words for this. I can't believe this actually happened.
