Metal Injection

Brent Hinds is most famous for being the guitarist of Mastodon, but did you know that he's also a spokesperson? Here is a new (hilarious) commercial with Hinds talking about the fictional disease "overwhelming hunger pains" and the cure for it, a local Atlanta dive named Elmyr. I hit up Elmyr when I went down to the first Scion Rock Fest in Atlanta, and the commercial makes it seem less divey than I recall. I do also recall pounding a lot of drinks as soon as I got there, so my memory is definitely a little fuzzy. I wasn't the only one who was incredibly tanked, as Brent Hinds surely out-tanked me. He seems like he's Elmyr's own Barney Gumble, or perhaps he is the Lemmy to Elmyr's Rainbow Room (if you ever go to the Rainbow in LA, there is a 90% chance Lemmy is sitting by the poker machine at the bar).
