BLURRING (Ex-BRUTAL TRUTH, Etc.) Gave Us Its Grindy, Disgusting New Single "The Devil I Know"

Get your terrifying grind on today!

Blurring has been around since 2012 and doesn't have a full-length record under its belt… yet. The group consists of bassist Dan Lilker (ex-Anthrax, Nuclear Assault), guitarist-turned drummer for Blurring Erik Burke (ex-Brutal Truth), guitarists Matt Colbert (ex-Kalibas) and Scott D'Agostino (ex-Kalibas), as well as vocalist Mark Welden (ex-Warblade). A press release from the group's label Handshake Inc. nails exactly what you're about to hear-

"It’s got the industrial and blue-collar ethos of Rochester written all over it, and lyrics that detail justified paranoia, societal breakdown, and pessimistic self loathing just perfect for Christmas morning."

So try not to have a mental breakdown at work, alright? That being said, check out the grindy-as-fuck new jam from Blurring titled "The Devil I Know." I described it to someone yesterday as Ulcerate but way, way faster, and I think that's a pretty good summation. The riffs lend themselves to that atmospheric death metal kind of feel, but holy hell is everything moving at the speed of cocaine in this song. Ready?

Blurring will release its self-titled record via Handshake Inc. on May 2.
