BEHEMOTH's NERGAL

No,  this isn't the punchline to a joke, it's the latest trailer to Nergal's autobiography, Sacrum Profanum. The trailer starts with Nergal riding a bike, with a gun attached to his back, Terminator II style talking about how critics blast his message and compare him to al-Qaeda. How does he counteract this? By suggesting in his new trailer that he's about to shoot up a church. Or is that the point? Watch the video:

Obviously, the point here, as with the previous trailers, is to be provocative. Is he trying to "troll" by saying, "you think I'm going to shoot up a church, so here is some imagery" or would he really do it?! Obviously, he wouldn't. Overall, he's got the metal media talking, so I guess his job is done. You can order the book here.

    Gotta agree with the "trying too hard" sentiment; you'd think his story about surviving leukemia and being in a hugely popular metal band would be enough. This just feels like a different version of that Geoff Tate video where he narrates how much he loves wine and his motorcycle.
