Yesterday we posted about Dying Fetus scattering a deceased fan name Nick's ashes at their show, which was pretty cool as a standalone story. Everyone got to smile for a few minutes as they read about the kind gesture, Nick's friend(s) I'm sure were pretty stoked, and that was that… right? Nope.
According to Nick's friend and bearer of the ashes, David Rich, this is something he does for shows in Chicago to carry on his friend's very metal spirit.
“I take nick’s ashes with me every show that i go to so that he is there with me and at shows that he’s missing out on. i love you nick. thank you so much Adam Nergal for doing this i couldn’t have been happier. i appreciate this more then you know.”
That's fucking awesome. For instance, here's Behemoth and Taake both doing the same thing Dying Fetus did.
