A/V ROUNDUP: PERIPHERY, MACHINE HEAD, SCALE THE SUMMIT, CRYPTOPSY, BRING ME THE HORIZON and more

In today's A/V Roundup, we have a tease of new music from Scale The Summit, a cool new video from Periphery, a free download of a live track from Machine Head, and new music from Bring Me The Horizon, Cryptopsy, Earthless and Aeon.

Scale The Summit are currently in the studio working on new material. Expect new music in 2013. If you can't wait, they have posted the following teaser:

"Hey, what's it like to be an instrument played by Periphery?" If you wondered before, wonder no more:

Get a free download of Machine Head's "Halo" over at Metal Hammer.

Here's a new song Bring Me The Horizon has been playing live:

Here's an old/new track from Cryptopsy. This never before released track will be featured on the band's upcoming compilation, The Best of Us Bleed, out November 20.

Big thanks to my buddy Vince Neilstein at MetalSucks for recommending Earthless to me. Their new album is streaming here, and it crushes. Vince accurately describes the band as "the best parts of The Ocean, Mastodon and early Baroness rolled into one."

Speaking of MetalSucks, they have a premiere from Aeon streaming on their site. It comes from the band's album, Aeon’s Black, due on November 20th. The track is “The Glowing Hate,” and it rules.
