A/V Roundup: New Music from EXHUMED, VISTA CHINO, CANDIRIA, GYRE, DEAD IN THE DIRT and a QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Cover

It's been forever since we've done an A/V roundup, but there's so much new music today that we have no choice. Hear killer new cuts from Exhumed, Vista Chino (formerly Kyuss), Candiria drummer Ken Schalk, Gyre, Dead In The Dirt and a cool lounge cover of Queens of the Stone Age….

Death metal fans, a new Exhumed track has been made available on Loudwire, and of course it's a beast. The band's new album, Necrocracy is out August 6th on Relapse.

I'm really digging the new Dead In The Dirt track posted on Pitchfork. The track "The Pit of Me" comes off their Southern Lord records debut, The Blind Hole, out August 6th.

Vista Chino, the band that was formerly Kyuss Lives! which was formerly Kyuss have posted a new track, "Barcelonian" over at Metal Hammer, off their upcoming album, Peace. Here's the track:

Ken from Candiria has never let me down, and his new jazz project rules. It's called Agents Of Mister Sparx, and you can hear "Messangers" below:

A new band from New Jersey named Gyre has popped up and they crush. The band sounds like traditional melodic death metal, and what would've been called metalcore in about 2003 (without any sign of clean vocals.) Listen to a new track of theirs over at Metal Underground.

I will end the AV Roundup today with a lounge version of the hit Queens of the Stone Age track, "No One Knows," it's pretty sweet:
