Metal Injection

This week just flew by! I can't believe it's already Thursday. While things are moving slowly in the metal world, there were enough little bits of music to create the first A/V Roundup of 2012. Here we go:

If you're not sick of all this Metallica anniversary news, there is way better footage available for Mustaine jamming with them, as well as Jason Newstead abso-fucking-lutely crushing "Whiplash". Man, I wish he was still in the band. I've decided he was the coolest part of 'tallica. Anyway, you can scan through the 45 minute recap above, all the fun stuff happens about mid-way through.

Eluveitie have released a new track, "A Rose For Epona", off the group's new album, Helvetios, which will be released on February 10 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The HAARP Machine released a teaser of upcoming material for their Sumerian Records debut. No release date or title is available at this time.

Lacuna Coil also released a new teaser for their upcoming release, Dark Adrenaline, which hits stores January 24th.
