A/V Roundup: New music from RWAKE, PRIMUS Album Stream, ICED EARTH, QOTSA Joined By Eddie Vedder

It's Thursday, but it sort of feels like Wednesday, because of the Labor Day holiday, but that doesn't matter because tomorrow is Friday, which is when the partying really starts! Here is some tunage to get you through the day:
We begin today with an epic 14 minute track from RWAKE. I'm not exactly sure if the band prefers to spell their name in all caps or not, but I certainly do. "Was Only a Dream" is the closing track from the band's upcoming September 27th release, Rest out on Relapse and it is currently streaming in full over at Pitchfork. If you want your face melted, check it out!
Are you a fan of Primus AND South Park? Of course you are! The band is streaming their new album, Green Naugahyde , in full on the South Park Facebook page. All you have to do is like the page (which, come on, you should have already liked) and you get access to all those sick bass tones.
Iced Earth have re-recorded their classic track "Dantes Inferno" and are giving it away for free download in exchange for an email address. The band said they were getting requests for years to play the song, but due to a faulty click track they couldn't play it live without hiring a live keyboard player. NO MORE!
Finally, here is a fun clip of Eddie Vedder hopping on stage to perform "Little Sister" with Queens of the Stone Age, and bringin' the cowbell with him. He's no Will Ferrell, but he will have to do.

Primus, "Green Naugahyde", has me tickled green (instead of pink). The song "Eyes of the Squirrel" really tickles my fancy. The whole album is filled with tickles.
Critics adore the new RWAKE album but the new listeners are ignoring it. I think releasing a 14 minute song isn't a very good strategy when most people have short attention spans. 14 minutes is just too long to ask of a first time listener. The screaming is overdone to.
