Audio Roundup: New Music from PSYCROPTIC, BLEEDING THROUGH, SIGH, PELICAN, SCALE THE SUMMIT

We have a loaded Audio Roundup on this Tuesday afternoon. New music from a lot of bands I have a deep respect for and to get you through the rest of the day. This time of year is always fun because of all the new music on the horizon. So, let's kick this sucker off…

First up, stop what you're doing and just check out this awesome full album stream of Psycroptic's killer new album, The Inherited Repression. The album hits stores February 7th on Nuclear Blast.

Bleeding Through have posted "Step Back In Line" from the album The Great Fire which comes out today. The track sounds great (except for those annoying synths). This is the most listenable BT has been in a while, so I'll definitely be checking this one out.

Thanks to a heads up from my buddy Axl, we can hear a new Sigh track, and it's super fun. You can hear it about 16:40 into this BBC show. THIS is proper use of synth in metal. And there is a sax solo. Gotta love Sigh for their crushing sax solos. The track is “The Transfiguration Fear” and it comes from In Somniphobia, due a March release via Candlelight Records.

When it comes to instru-metal, Pelican know what's up. These guys are set to put out a four-song EP, Ataraxia/Taraxis on April 10 via Southern Lord, and you can stream a track at SPIN.com.

Speaking of instru-metal, our bro-bros in MetalSucks are streaming a NEW Scale The Summit track that comes included with their fancy new vinyl release. Check it out.
