Audio Roundup: New music from SKELETONWITCH, AS I LAY DYING, CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED

It's Tuesday, and Apple is set to announce a new iPhone today, in about an hour. I am far too excited about this. Here is some new music that distracts me while I wait:
Skeletonwitch have released another new track by the name of “Sink Beneath Insanity,” and it's available on Pitchfork. Their new album, Forever Abomination comes out next week on Prosthetic. I've had a few days to sink my teeth into recently, and it's an awesome, heavy as fuck release. Don't forget, these dudes are playing our CMJ showcase in Brooklyn in a few weeks.
Do you happen to be a fan of As I Lay Dying and Judas Priest? You're in luck because the former band has covered the latter's track “Electric Eye,” which you can hear at Noisecreep. It's a pretty solid cover, the band treated the song well. It's off their upcoming rarities and B-sides collection Decas, which is out November 8th on Metal Blade.
Charred Walls of the Damned's new album, Cold Winds On Timeless Days is now streaming on at RockSound Germany's website. Noa likes it, so you should like it! The album comes out next Tuesday.
