Anaal Nathrakh has been creating violent, nihilistic, distorted, hellish music since 2000, and has dropped some records that are incredibly hard to top. Those records of course being 2009's In The Constellation Of The Black Widow and 2012's Vanitas, and considering the somewhat hit-or-miss quality (and reviews) of 2014's Desideratum, Anaal Nathrakh was due to rise to the top once more.
Fortunately, that rise is happening now. The band's new album The Whole Of Law comes out on October 28 via Metal Blade Records and the lead single "Depravity Favours The Bold" has instantly become one of my favorite tracks by the band. The distorted clean vocals, the massive guitars, the choir samples, the sheer magnitude of the black metal tone of the track… holy shit. I really cannot stress to you enough how ridiculous and next level this track is, so you'll just have listen below.
