Æther Realm is one of those bands that simply doesn't get enough coverage despite being ridiculously good. So let's change that, yeah? The group is aiming to drop its sophomore record sometime this June and, to begin the teasing, has dropped a brand new track named "The Chariot." The song is essentially everything I love about bands like Amorphis and Wintersun, but stripped down and a lot more riff-oriented.
Oh, and then there's some seriously ripping guitar solos in there, a few beard-inducing viking moments and even an awesome folky bit around the four minute mark. Trust me when I say there's everything in the world to love about this song, so I'll let you get to it.
Oh, and just in case you were wondering- Æther Realm is not from Finland. Æther Realm is from North Carolina.
