Here it is! What you're seeing above is the artwork for Abbath's debut album Abbath, due out on January 22 via Season of Mist. The effort will be eight songs long, which doesn't seem like too much until you realize that all of what we've heard up to this point has been within the five-or-six minute range.
Speaking of new music from Abbath, here's some new music from Abbath! 'Winter Bane" has a fairly Immortal feel to it, but with a lot of additional groove and not so much reliance on that classic black metal sound.
