To all our international readers, I'd first like to apologize for the way my country has behaved the last 8 years and let you know this post doesn't pertain to you. To all our U.S. readers who are 18 or over, don't be a dick and forget to register to vote. Whether you vote for Obama or McCain doesn't matter (although if you vote for McCain you are most likely an idiot or an asshole….I said it). Point is this a really important election and to quote Rage Against the Machine, we need to "take the power back". So, don't be a douche, put down the bong, take a few seconds and go to declareyourself.com. DO IT or the hockey mom gets into office.

I'm 21. This is my first election and I mailed in my registration forms today.
Anyone who thinks Sarah Palin is doing a "good job" is probably voting based on the fact that she reminds them of their Aunt or Mom. God forbid people vote based on policy and merit. That would require reading and having a brain.
How do you "take the power back" by voting for a socialist like Barack Hussein Obama. Sure, McCain is an old thing with little to talk about, but don't try saying Obama is any better. He wants to nationalize medicine, stop nuclear exploration, and is worried about hurting peoples feelings…… I haven't been around for many elections, but i sure do hope that this marks the rock bottom for politics in America. by the way…… anyone who thinks Barack Obama is doing a "good job" is probably voting based on the fact that he reminds them of their dreamy hollywood president. I recommend finding transcripts of obama's speeches so you can read them and finally realize how seldom he actually says anything and how much he relies on using "powerful" sounding rhetoric to sway people.

How is Barack Obama a socalist when John McCain was the one who voted for the bailout? Isn't that the most socialist thing one can do? Granted these are politicians, but at least Obama tries to come off likeable and like a straight shooter, whereas McCain is a fucking liar and he contradicts things he said one sentence ago sometimes. The guy is senile, can have a heart attack and leave a hockey mom in charge of this country. Is that what you want?
Point is, overall, even if you are for 4 more years of pretty much exactly the same shit (whereas Obama would be slightly different) then get your ass out there and vote.
So obama didn't vote for the bailout? He didn't say over and over again that this bailout needed to happen?
I think you ought to be a little smarter than that! I just think its stupid how all of you wackos out there talk complete sh*t about mccain, and act like obama is our savior. McCain is senial. but obama is just so fake and full of as much lies as mc kane. this election won't mean much in the end- if mccain wins, he'll probably die before the end of his term, and if obama is elected he will face assassination attempt after assassination attempt. There are more than enough radical neos out there that will, without a doubt, try to kill him. whether or not they'll succeed….only time will tell. But it is the duty, of all of us that are capable, to vote and take the opportunity to take advantage of our right to freedom of speech and have our word in the most important decision made every 4 years.
