QUEEN's Bohemian Rhapsody Becomes Highest-Grossing Music Biopic of All Time

The Queen movie, Bohemian Rhapsody, is a bonafied hit. The 20th Century Fox/New Regency/GK Films film has surpassed $600 million dollars gross worldwide, according to Deadline Hollywood, making it the highest-grossing music biopic of all time.

The movie, which sees actor Rami Malek, take on the role of iconic frontman Freddie Mercury, made $175.7 million in North American and $443 million internationally, bringing the total to $608.7 million.

The movie has been nominated for two Golden Globes (best drama, best actor for Rami Malek) and two SAG awards (for ensemble and best actor).

The movie surpasses the previous domestic record holder, Straight Outta Compton, the story of rap group N.W.A. and The Greatest Showman.

The movie got mixed reviews, but it's clear the fans will eat anything Queen up.
