CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED's Richard Christy Has A Cameo In The New Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Movie

Richard Christy is a renaissance man. He is a legendary metal drummer known for his time with Death and his current project, Charred Walls of the Damned. He's a comedian, appearing reguarly on The Howard Stern Show for well over a decade, he's a terrible cook, and now he's a noted big-time Hollywood thespian.

If you were one of the many who caught Guardians of the Galaxy 2 opening this weekend, you may have spotted Richard as one of the ravagers, a notable cast of characters throughout the film. Christy made the announcement last Friday on Twitter:

Gunn responded to the tweet, noting he heard a segment on The Howard Stern Show a few years ago of Christy getting his pubes waxed and laughed so hard he knew he had to put Christy in a movie:

On the Howard Stern Show earlier today, Christy revealed he even had a line, yelling "Down there!" at one point in the film. He told a fan on Twitter to keep an eye out when the song "Come A Little Bit Closer" by Jay & The Americans begins playing to note his big scene.

As for my review of the film, without giving away any spoilers – it was one of the most satisfying cinematic experiences I've ever had. Every plot point, every joke, everything pays off in some way later on in the movie, and all the characters are very clearly defined, have good motivation and overall it's just a fun action movie. I feel like you don't even need to see the first one (which was just as fun and great) to understand where this movie goes. Go see it!
