Earlier this year, Unicode, the non-profit organization in charge of this sorta of thing, approved a metal horns emoji and today, we can report the emoji, along with about 150 other emojis is available for Apple iOS users.
All you have to do is update to the new iOS 9.1. You can see an example above. In order for others to see the new emoji in text messages, they have to be upgraded to iOS 9.1 as well. To update, go to Settings > General > Software Update on your iOS device.
Apparently, these emojis are also available on Android 4.4 or higher, but I cannot confirm because I do not have one. If you do have an Android and are above 4.4, let us know in the comments if you see the emoji or not. Update: Some Android users are telling us the new emoji update is not yet available. Sorry!
