Earlier today, Gear Gods revealed a shocking new piece of commissioned musical instrumentation. Youtuber Jared Dines commissioned a 17-string guitar from Olson Guitarworks, which Jared plans to use in an upcoming video. While GearGods called it "the final harbinger of the Apocalypse," we have to ask, is this too far or not far enough?

I guess we'll wait to see the finished video, but history buffs should know that Gibson already released an 18-string guitar in the 1993, so step it up!
