Have you heard about Apple's wireless new AirPods – they are literally without a wire. It's basically two ear "pods" which both independently connect via BlueTooth, and cost a staggering $130 to purchase (and yes they sell single $70 replacements).
Besides the price, the biggest question about the product is will they actually stay in your ears? Apple's traditional ear buds have been known to fall out of bigger ears, but those had the benefit of being caught by a wire. If an AirPod falls out, and a dog or sewer is nearby, that pod is done for. Luckily, developer and noted Animals As Leaders fan Andrew Cornett has figured out a solution: just tuck them into your ear gauge:

Of course, such a lifehack would require you to get ear gauges to begin with.
