Current & Ex-KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Frontmen Are Totally Buds Now

Posted by on February 26, 2018 at 10:55 am

Killswitch Engage was founded in 1999 and was fronted by vocalist Jesse Leach. Leach left the group in 2002 and was replaced by vocalist Howard Jones, who stuck with the band until 2012, at which point Leach came back into the fold. Jones resurfaced in 2014 with Devil You Know, nor Light The Torch, but despite the two sharing a group/ex-group, Jones and Leach never hung out. At least until this weekend.

Leach said about hanging with Jones "I honestly didn’t really know Howard as a person until last night. We’ve seriously just never hung out. A lot of really crucial stuff was said and I made a new friend…We have a lot in common, it’s crazy!" He also said he heard the upcoming Light The Torch album and absolutely loves it. Plus, maybe this will open the door for a Jones guest spot on the upcoming Killswitch Engage album? Maybe?

So we had a little venting session about working in the studio with Adam D, Howard went in, I assisted. Adam deserved it ha ha… Such good times last night man! At some point I’ll talk more about it. I honestly didn’t really know Howard as a person until last night. We’ve seriously just never hung out. A lot of really crucial stuff was said and I made a new friend…We have a lot in common, it’s crazy! It was also nice to see all of the guys hanging out in the same room sharing stories and tons of laughs. The past is the past and when you let go of certain things, forgive and move on…life gets a whole lot sweeter. Really really cool hangs, my heart is full today. 🙏🏼 #AdamD #killswitchengage #JesseLeach #HowardJones #TherapySession #LightTheTorch #RealTalk #NewFriend #SuchABlast #Hojo #Anxiety #Depression #Brotherhood #Headcases #LeadSingerIssues
