If you can picture yourself sitting in the darkest space imaginable for years with nothing more than a pen to record and isolate your thoughts you would barely begin to scrape the cell splitting, mind melting insanity that is about to melt you like a subatomic bomb. Earth is dead. Too bad you're not.

As the weather warms up and tour season kicks into high gear, we're starting to see more marquee releases coming down the pipeline. This isn't a good time to get behind on your metal… playing catch up later is going to be a bitch from this point on.

Machine Head parted ways with longtime bassist Adam Duece and it wasn't pretty. But, with a big national tour on the horizon this summer, the band need a new bassist, and rather than look inside the pool of studio bassists, the band is opening up the floor to fans to audition.

Legendary Floridian doom band Floor are back!

Now this is a tour I can get behind, a prog metal wet dream featuring Intronaut and Scale The Summit with Mouth of the Architect and Castle splitting half the tour amongst themselves. And there are plenty of dates.

Spoiler- the East Coast gets pretty shafted.
