Some of the songs in Metallica's arsenal are absolutely timeless classics that will be heard for years to come. I love when somebody takes a famous song and reworks it and fiddling with "Nothing Else Matters" has been done before, be it by Macy Gray, or this choir. Some music whiz has now taken the [...]

If you read my intro to last year's list, you already know how strongly I feel about music, an expressive art form, being forced into a competitive sport-like structure. I do however, love to share my passion of metal with the world every day, and as some of you know, spend more time seeking out [...]

If Slipknot has been off your radar in the past few months, it’s imperative to know that this is not exactly a new album from the band. I know I perked up immediately when I had first heard reports of Antennas To Hell coming out, but was subsided a bit after learning it was a [...]

When I first arrived to bum-fuck Oklahoma for Rocklahoma, I didn't know what to expect. Being from Texas, it's like we're bred to think that everything Oklahoma sucks. While that could be true for somethings, certainly not Rocklahoma. I had a fucking blast! What I was most excited about was being able to camp among [...]

You read that right, folks. The headline says it all. Ahh Danzig, almost as fun to write about as Dave Mustaine. Seeing as though I am theWalter Cronkite of metal (or maybe the Barbara Walters), I met Danzig once and interviewed him. He was cool, he said I looked like the son of the Big [...]
