Slayer have just released an official press release with a lot of answers to lingering questions.

As I Lay Dying's Tim Lambesis was arrested earlier this week after allegedly attempting to hire a hitman to murder his estranged wife. The arraignment was earlier this afternoon, May 9th and according about UT San Diego pleaded not guilty to one count of solicitation of murder at his arraignment in Vista Superior Court. 

Unless you've been completely offline for the last day, you know that As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis was arrested yesterday, May 7th after trying to hire a hitman to murder his ex-wife. The hitman ended up being an undercover cop. Moments ago, his bandmates broke their silence on the issue:

The metal world is still shocked about the news that broke yesterday that Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman of Slayer passed away due to liver failure at the young age of 49. Musicians everywhere have been paying tribute, and here is a roundup of their kind words for the influential guitarist:
