Late last week, while promoting Cannibal Corpse's upcoming headlining tour, co-founding member Paul Mazurkiewicz gave an interview to Billboard and was asked about the Big 4 of Death Metal, an obvious play on the Big 4 of Thrash, that have been selling out stadiums worldwide. To his credit, Mazurkiewicz seemed all for it, saying:

Here we go again! We've been following all the Big Four rumors since they started circulating earlier this year. Eventually, what came about was a few European festival shows and a live DVD with promises of more eventually. In September, Mustaine hinted from the stage that something might be cooking and then over the weekend he posted the above tweet.
