About two years ago now, word spread of a new metal supergroup forming featuring Killswtich Engage's guitarist Adam D., Cannibal Corpse vocalist, George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher and Black Dahlia Murder drummmer Shannon Lucas. We confirmed the news a year later, but things have been ho-hum on the supergroup front, until now.

Each week on ‘Throwback Thursday’ we dust off a crucial but underrated album, without which heavy metal’s evolution would have turned out quite differently. This week we creep into the mausoleum of doom, there to awaken the stiff-limbed undead corpse of Chicago’s Trouble and their genre revitalizing eponymous debut, later known as Psalm 9.

If you like weed and death metal, this is the tour for you. I'm kind of shocked that High Times didn't come on board as a sponsor, because the copious amount of toking that will take place on the Hell In July tour will be legendary. Six Feet Under just announced they'll be spending July [...]

An ominous chorus begins to swell as a deadpan drum is beaten in the background. A voice comes onto the microphone like a demonic preacher and begins to spew sermon. Staring at the album's cover and listening to the prophetic banter, suddenly things start to come together. The grounds will crack, the dead shall raise [...]
