It's easy to forget sometimes that Metallica are really, really rich. Sure, we recently uncovered the net worth of both Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield but it really didn't sink in for me until I saw this house listing for a huge five acre home that once belonged to James Hetfield.

Last night was the fifth annual Revolver Golden Gods and without question, the biggest one yet. Metallica performed! Anthrax got up on stage with Phil and Rex to perform "This Love?" Dillinger Escape Plan bled and breathed fire. Overall, it was a great night that we're still recovering from.

I am so serious right now. Combine this with the fact that we have the elderly blasting Iron Maiden at people this week, and maybe we should just realize we shouldn't fuck with old people.

What the hell is going on with Iron Maiden-related things lately? At first it was just within the band, having Nicko McBrain's wife and son going nuts, but apparently that insanity has spread to fans.

Wow, wow, wow! Iron Maiden sure know how to book a short tour. The band just announced a string of new tour dates for this September and they got quite the opening band, Megadeth. Additionally, there will be a huge one-off show in San Bernadino which also features Anthrax, Testament, Sabaton & Overkill.
