Metallica announced their (not very cheap) pinball game a few weeks ago, and I have to say, after watching this mini-playthough video, I really want to play the game.

It's been almost two weeks since the tragic passing of Jeff Hanneman due to liver failure. Last week, the band announced the official cause of death being alcohol related cirrhosis and that a memorial will be held in his honor later this month. The band just released all the details surrounding the memorial:

It's easy to forget sometimes that Metallica are really, really rich. Sure, we recently uncovered the net worth of both Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield but it really didn't sink in for me until I saw this house listing for a huge five acre home that once belonged to James Hetfield.

This is the craziest week in recent memory. Between the passing of Jeff Hanneman, this meth lab situation and of course this trial of Tim Lambesis, I have never remembered a more chaotic week of metal. One thing I missed in yesterday's announcement of the official cause of death for Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman, was that the band announced they will be continuing to tour in the wake of the Slayer guitarist's death. Here is their official statement:

We've been cautiously optimistic about the upcoming Metallica 3D theatrical release, Through The Never. We  already know the set list. We know it cost (at least) $20 million dollars to make. We know there will be some weird narrative not related to the live performance, and the plot seems a bit…I don't know. Today, we got our first production still from the movie.

It's been one week since the tragic loss of Slayer guitarist, Jeff Hanneman, who passed away due to liver failure. It was assumed that his 2011 spider bite and resulting flesh-eating disease, necrotizing fasciitis, was what eventually lead to his death, but a new report by a physician questions that theory.

Talk about terrible coincidences… Dave Lombardo is currently in Israel with his project Philm, and was being interviewed by KZRadio the day before his Slayer bandmate Jeff Hanneman passed away. The interviewer was asking Lombardo about his recent troubles with Slayer when he said:
